Private confessionals #7!

"1. Rich: Rich has been quiet, but not too quiet. He didn't really help today at the challenge much and he just seems very suspicious.
2: Paul: Paul helped a little tonight, so he probably should be ranked lower on my list but he's going to stay at number two for now. He like Rich is quiet and suspicious.
3. Brian: Brian seems to be getting stupider by the day. Talking with ebonics and shit. He acted like he needed to use an ipod to listen to mp3s at the challenge today? Wtf? What person that uses the internet that is our age thinks that. I think it is all an act and he is trying to come off stupider than he really is.
4. Elise: She seemed very suspicious tonight. She did give one correct answer during the challenge, but I'm still iffy about her. During the challenge she was shouting a lot of things but barely helping. She also only gave 5 out of 6 correct inkblots during the long term challenge."

Heh that's an excerpt from my very first confessional! Of my top 4 suspects at the start of the game Rich is the only one not here anymore.

Jill is the only person missing from that suspect list because she was always low on it for me. Last quiz I got a 1 on her so I'm pretty confident she isn't the mole and that leaves just those other 3 players.

Brian is still the most annoying person alive. From his last blog entry he tries to classify the eliminations of the other players by saying they got burnt out for playing too hard too fast and part of the list includes Ellery, Mitch, Kyle and Ginger. He says Ellery was active. Really? Mitch and Kyle too? Maybe the guys were at first but then they got lazy and stop caring which constantly kept getting them negatives on their quizzes. Ellery I never saw on Gmail other then one challenge.
Ginger made it more than half way through the game, I doubt she got burnt out, she just got the quiz wrong. Then he says the other group, which excludes Paul but includes me, Jill, Elise, just breezed along through the game not caring much. I'm sorry Brian but I've been working my ass off at this game trying to win. The goal of this game isn't to WIN every challenge, that's what you do on Survivor. Brian seems to be a firm believer that if you don't do your best at every challenge you shouldn't be here anymore. Apparently he's never actually seen this show before. I hope to hell he is the next player executed because if he knows who the mole is I will be pissed. He is so freaking stupid he might just be getting completely lucky on the quiz. If he does know who it is for the love I God I better have more cumulative points on the mole than he does. I bet Brian has helped execute a few players though and for awhile I really thought it was him. Only until after the Mafia challenge did I really stop suspecting him and so I feel confident in FINALLY crossing him off my list.

Now with Breaux gone and crossing Jill and Brian off of my list The Mole is either Elise or Paul. I'm leaning more towards Elise because Paul has just been too helpful throughout the game. Not to mention Paul hasn't really ever talked to me, I think the mole would try to talk to everyone or it just makes them look scared to give up any information they have, which is what a player would do. The one thing that still irks me is that I never got Elise's bio information from her and if she's the mole that was a really lame thing to do to me. I think I could get it off of her now but it's kind of late. The only reason I know her answer choices on the quiz is because I got everyone else's, so by default I know which answers are Elise's.

So now that I have an exemption, I'm just going to go 100% Elise on the quiz to get as much Cumulative points on her as possible (since we still have to take the quiz exempt for tie purposes). I'm sure Jill will be doing the same though so if she has more and we both end up in the F3 then I guess I have no chance at winning. But oh well if I can't win I wouldn't mind her winning, she DID just help me get an exemption. This is all assuming it is Elise, somehow it'll turn to be Brian and I'll cry.

I don't think Jill giving me the exemption was necessarily a bad or dumb move on her part because we both feel confident that it IS Elise. We had to make sure one of those guys didn't get it and we both were online at that moment, so it just seemed like the best option. I just pray that Paul and Brian don't know it is Elise too, but I'm thinking they do D:

Hmmm... Not sure where this idea came about that I thought that if you performed badly in challenges you didn't "deserve" to be there. I can only assume either Jill / Blaise got the wrong idea and gave it to Blaise / Jill, since others didn't seem to have it. My observation was that the early "slackers" were the late "winners". Where this idea came from that I thought they somehow didn't "deserve" to make it far, I don't know, because I never said so.

And would you say Mitch and Kyle didn't burn out? They started off as complete forces of nature, appearing pretty much everywhere and chatting with everyone; and then just dropped off the radar before being eliminated due to penalties. If that's not "burning out", I don't know what is!

I don't know whether or not "deserving" is the word you used, but you certainly gave the impression that you were surprised by the fact that people who did poorly in challenges were still in the game:

Brian: u, me, elise, blaise, rofl
and were all still here
me: I don't see how performance in a challenge is related to doing well on the quizzes, though.
Brian: well i dont either
but we all sucked then and were all still here, so we got 2 b doing sumthing rite, lol

I guess the second issue is a matter of opinion, but I can't for a second imagine describing Kyle and Mitch as "forces of nature". The story was basically the same for both of them: around a decent amount the first week, and ghosts starting episode two until the end (seriously, they were like never on gmail). I saw people like you and Ginger as being more "forces of nature" than those two guys.

I'll look for the convo I may have had with you that you seemed to reference this, but Jill posted one that was pretty similar. I wouldn't consider myself a slacker because I purposely sabotaged a challenge lol

Mitch and Kyle didn't burn out I don't think. Kyle had real life shit come up it seems so he was just busy or cared less. Mitch I hardly ever saw on gmail and he was hardly active on challenges or the message boards. Hell he was the only play other than Rich to not come to the Reunion. So Mitch was just a douche that talked really fast in two challenge chats, that's about it.

Erm... are you even reading the same convo as me? Sure I commented about it, because that's what I thought; but where was I supposed to be surprised / annoyed? I don't get it.

I never said "annoyed".

I thought that your saying "We all sucked then, and we're all still here" was clear indication that you thought it was odd that somehow we were all still in the game even though we had "sucked". Sorry for the misinterpretation on my part.

LOL, no problem. Sorry to get on your case like that. :)
